Results Worth Celebrating

Today’s meditation was skipped.

Magical Nature Tarot - The SunToday’s draw is the Sun card, which is traditionally a representation of happiness, success, joy, and the celebration of life.

What I see expressed in the imagery of this specific card is a heavy leaning into success.  There is a clock face in the imagery, as well as a tree and the radiant outward projection of energy from that tree outward beyond its personal space and into the world beyond.  Trees reach for the sky and the sun, and it’s those that can reach the highest that usually thrive the most.

The message in today’s cards is about reaching for what you want and letting your reach carry you into success. It’s not enough to want something, but to -reach- for it and put your all into it can bring surprising results that are well worth celebrating.

Question for January 31st
: What am I asked to take to heart as I give closure to January?

Magical Nature Tarot - Seeker of Swords, Page of Swords, The Emperor, Ten of PentaclesReading Summary: Think less (Seeker of Swords), appreciate more (Ten of Pentacles), and it will provide you with more control in the end (The Emperor).

Take Away: Remember that sometimes you just have to go with the flow and not try to work out every little detail of every little thing. By allowing space instead of over-planning, you give yourself room to connect with others and build the types of relationships and stability that, in the end, works better over all for you.

The path to success lies in collaboration, and is not a journey of one.

Daily Self Kindness

I skipped half of my readings for today cuz I was tired.

❤️ Self Care Saturday (On a Sunday)

These Saturday readings are (not usually) bearing in on any one thing or event in my life, as the question used is asking for a more general outlook. This is a self care exercise, and is not meant as a predictive reading… although that, too, happens on occasion.

The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?

Self Care Saturday Tarot Reading with the Magical Nature Tarot and The Twilight Canticle Lenormand

EarthApprentice of Swords – Take time to learn new methods. Not everything is going to work out the way you’ve done it in the past.  You’ll have to adjust and adapt strategically to make sure you stay on top of your responsibilities this week.

AirFour of Swords – Stop overthinking everything.  Set those things that keep wiggling their way into your mind aside and take a breather.  Not everything can be solved by obsessing over it.

WaterThe Suspended One – Work on putting yourself in other’s shoes more often so that you are connecting with with more clarity and understanding to how others are feeling. Pay closer attention.

FireThe World – New trails and explorations lie ahead, but take a minute to celebrate how far you have come first.

WaningLily and Lady – Caring for someone elderly takes patience. It is a balance between helping them feel capable, and showing them where they need help in a way that keeps them open to accepting it. Ease up. She doesn’t take hearing she can’t do something any better than you do. Let her try instead. Just be there to catch her when she needs it.

WaxingMice and Birds – Gossip is a corrosion of healthy social connections. Keep this in the forefront of your mind as you move forward into the week ahead.

Weekly Creativity Prompt – The World

Prompt: “Pull the Hermit card from your deck(s). Compare the imagery between the card provided below and the card(s) from your own deck(s). How would you read them differently and why?

Tarot of the Hidden Realm - The WorldTarot of the Hidden Realm – Resplendent and spent, she lies among the green  and exhales a sigh of relief as butterflies flutter around her and reminder her of hope and that after she has taken this moment of rest?  She will rise to dance with them, and a new journey will begin. The imagery in this card speaks of relief, hope, and continuation. Just because we come to the end of one journey doesn’t mean it’s the end of everything… it simply means that you need to take a moment to orient yourself, and then lean into hope as you rise again.

Magickal Nature Tarot, Josana Jaus Tarot, Monsoon Tarot

Magical Nature Tarot – She dances in joyous celebration, skirt flared as she twirls in a feeling of completion and pleasure. She is there to remind us that endings are not to be mourned, but celebrated.  They mean that we have completed something.  A phase… a journey… it’s not dying but completing, and in that completion we find a touch of sadness yes.  But we need to focus on all the good it offers, the feelings of success and the boon we are being given and will be able to then carry with us into the future with a light step, lighter shoulders, and an even lighter heart.

Jonasa Jaus Tarot 7th Edition – Growing life within the womb is a miracle of womanhood, and the journey is both a beautiful blessing and a heavy burden. There is so much that can go wrong, and so much to take on, so many changes and so much discomfort. And when it’s time… and the birth comes? Well that can hurt too, and yet it too is a blessing beyond compare.  This card speaks of the boon and the bane that comes with growth and rebirth. You can’t have one without the other, but the end is worth the struggle when it comes down to it.

Monsoon Tarot – A figure emerges from a bed of flowers like they are slipping free of a Faerie mound, a nest rests as a crown on their head, eggs nestled within it and others lying among the flowers. This card speaks strongly of rebirth.  The World circles around back to the Fool, and what I see here is the Fool at rest before they wake and begin to move. It is that moment of pause where you acknowledge all you have accomplished and take a breath.  When your eyes open, you will step into the shoes of the Fool once more and an exciting new journey will begin.

Keep Moving

Magical Nature Tarot - Eight of SwordsToday’s draw is the Eight of Swords, which is traditionally a representation of willful ignorance, turning a blind eye, negative inner narratives, and the need to open up to new perspectives.

The traditional imagery combined with the theme of pokeberry in this card reminds us that opening our eyes to the truth requires letting go of the illusion of safety that stagnation provides.

Yes, standing in one place, still as a stone, feels safe… but it leaves you left behind and alone as the world moves in and changes around you. Don’t let your fear of change or fear of the truth tie your hands and bind you in place. Just like the blood that runs in our veins, we are meant to be moving.

JonasaJaus Tarot 7th EditionSomeone important in your life who has/had a lot of influence on you.

The Star – Always there and with an ear to lend, they provide advice as an option, always selfless and geared toward support and your happiness. They lift you up just by sharing space with you, and can create comfort with just a word. They are a shining star in your life, guiding you forward when things are at their darkest, and ever present to cheer you on even when things are at their best.

Their negative influence on you.

The High Priestess – You could expand your intuition more without their influence there to distract you. The question becomes… do you really want to?

Their positive influence on you.

Five of Coins – They help you see that things are not as bad as they seem. Your scarcity issues ensure that even when things are good you feel that you are penniless. They help you in seeing that perspective is all in your head and that things are not half as bad as it seems.

Your negative influence on them.

Wheel of Fortune – You create uncertainty in their lives due to your lack of dependability. It is hard on them when you disappear as you sometimes do. It causes them stress and raises their blood pressure.

Your positive influence on them.

Nine of Coins – Any and all time with you makes them feel like they are on top of the world and the luckiest person on earth. Their gratitude for you in their life knows no ends and makes the whole of their life brighter and better.

Lionharts’ #TheJanuaryTarot 2023 Year of Evolution Challenge Prompt
Question for January 1st
: What am I guided to initiate on this first day of 2023?

Magical Nature Tarot - Strength, Five of Wands, JusticeSummary: Remember that what goes around comes around (Justice). If you push too hard (Strength), you’ll pay the consequences of that. Make sure in any clashes of will (Five of Wands) today that the consequences are worth the temporary “win” of the moment.

Take Away: You can’t “make friends and influence people” when you’re being oppositional. Take care in how you present your ideas and values to others, as there are less abrasive ways to get your point across that won’t leave you in the doghouse as a result. Keeping this in mind will help you to not just avoid conflict, but also avoid building lasting tensions between yourself and others.
