Tomorrow is the full moon, and like all new moons and full moons, I did a spread aligned to the moon’s current themes as a part of my recognition of the moon’s cycle and influences upon us. Today’s spread is courtesy of @spiritdaughter
Where have I been saying yes when I mean no?
The Hanged Man – When you are being given a chance to pause and consider, or the opportunity to seize that chance, a lot of times you end up just shrugging and going along rather than even checking in with yourself beyond your moral compass to see if you actually have a preference.
Instead, consider if you actually -have- a preference and there’s something you want out of the situation or options available. You did a bit of this on your trip last week and they adjusted for you. Keep it up!
What do I need from my closest relationships that I haven’t asked for?
Six of Cups – You need more nostalgia time. You depend on those around you to help you with keeping your memories from disappearing due to head injury/memory loss issues. Prompt them to talk about your shared past more, and wander down memory lane together more often.
Even those memories that are only stories now, and you can no longer access in your mind’s eye as actual memories, are valuable and allow you to see yourself and your growth in a different light.
If I loved myself the way I love others, what would I do differently?
The Fool – Allow time for more fun and frivolity. Let yourself be less serious, and seek out the things you enjoy more. Allow responsibility to take the back seat now and then without guilt or self-recrimination.
You spend too much of your time “keeping yourself in line” when what you really need is to let go and just enjoy life more.
Full Moon advice from the Minoan Goddess Amalthea.
Seven of Pentacles atop Ten of Swords – Sometimes things don’t work out, no matter how much time you put in or how hard you work at them. If the roots are dead… then the plant is dead, and there can be no resuscitation, just replacement.
You can’t squeeze blood from stone, no matter how hard you try. You can start over, though, and grow something fruitful from the ashes, if you’re willing to try again.
