🎨 Weekly Creativity Prompt – Imagery Interpretations

Prompt: Pull the same three cards from your deck(s) and tell us how you might interpret these decks differently, and why. Same question, same cards, different decks. And if you’d read them similarly? Tell us that, and explain why! Today’s cards are Seven of Dandelions (Swords), Ten of Mushrooms (Coins), and Ten of Branches (Wands). And the question from our imaginary querent is “What is something I’ve been neglecting lately and how could I pay it some more attention?”

Enchanted Forest Felines Tarot

“What is something I’ve been neglecting lately and how could I pay it some more attention?”
Interpretation from the Enchanted Forest Felines Tarot:

All that hard work you’ve been doing has the potential to slip through your fingers if you’re not careful.

Pay attention to what you choose to pursue, and what you’ve chosen to leave behind. You can’t turn back for those discarded bits later, because you’ll already be carrying far too much on your shoulders, so make sure that you choose wisely.

Keep in mind when making these choices that what you take on benefits not just you and your goals, but also those that join you on your journey or wait for you at the end of it.

Hoi Polloi Tarot

“What is something I’ve been neglecting lately and how could I pay it some more attention?”
Interpretation from the Hoi Polloi Tarot

You think that you’re supporting everyone and that they’re all appreciative of what you provide, but all that back breaking work is being taken for granted by someone far more interested with taking off with what’s yours than enjoying it along side you.

Pay attention to those that take what you offer for granted, and ensure that they aren’t taking more than their share without respecting the work you’ve put into it.

Connecting Through Differences

Today’s meditation was skipped.

Tarot of the Magical Forest - StrengthToday’s draw is the Strength card, which is traditionally a representation of inner strength, influence through persuasion, compassion, and courage.

I love the imagery for the Strength card in this deck.  It makes me think of myself and Gideon, and how we connect even though we are so different, finding those things that we share and appreciating our differences both.

That is what I see as the message in today’s card.  Find those things that connect you with others.  Appreciate them.  But make sure that you are appreciating your differences as well.  It’s through those differences we are allowed to see the world from a different perspective.

Questions for August 4th and 5th

Hoi Polloi TarotHow do I summon more willpower?

Queen of Cups and Ten of Cups – Make room for personal happiness. When you have something to fight for, you find more strength of will with which to fight.

How can I inspire more passion in my life?

The Fool atop The Tower – Don’t worry so much about the repercussions all the time. Sometimes following your passions requires you to be a little careless, and let the chips fall where they may.

Tarot of the Magical ForestHow do I feel when I look inside myself?

Death and Knight of Wands – Looking inside yourself, you feel a sense of dissatisfaction, and that you are in need of change without a clear direction on what change needs to be made.

What do I need to change?

Two of Pentacles atop Ten of Pentacles – More balance in your life will create more satisfaction overall, not just for yourself but also those around you who are influenced by your success.  You’ve done a lot in this area already, but there’s still a great deal further to go.

Daily Self Kindness

I am playing some serious catch up and I have no idea what the self-kindness for this day might have been.
