The last breath
of winter
skims over
barren earth
and in the distance
the promise
of spring
lifts its head
in the tiny buds
at the tips
of branches
and scent of rebirth
blown in
on a breeze

is like tender shoots
slipping up
through damp soil
reaching
for the sun
that is you
and as I unfurl
vulnerable
and eager
your love
shines brightly
for all to see
and melts the snow

I know that
it is because
you want
so desperately
to protect me
that you sometimes
scold me as you do
and I am not angry
Even when frustrated
I’m not angry
because it is one
of the many ways
you show me
your love

I… am dealing with a curve ball.

A mini-hiatus is necessary as a result.

There won’t be a catch-up this time. Instead, I’ll just start posting again once I am capable.

For my clients… readings are still open, but my turn-around time on them is slightly increased. If you can hold off until April, I’d appreciate it. If you can’t? That’s okay too, just know it’ll take me a little longer than the norm to get your readings sent to you. ❤️

Winter blooms
bleached of color
hide in plain sight
among the rocks
and soil
as they wait
for summer sun
that will breathe life
and color
back into the world
and shower
flower petals
with kisses
until they blush
