Tarot Vintage - The Fool card and Daily Truth OracleDaily Mental Health Prompt: Seek a positive message to carry with you throughout the day and offer perspective.

Today’s draw is The Fool card, which is traditionally a representation of innocence, carelessness, carefree enthusiasm, and new beginnings.

The Fool card has then been combined with one of the Daily Truth Oracle cards, which says, “I am an authority on my life.”

Don’t allow others to tell you what you should enjoy. Your pleasures and joys are yours, and you can identify them far more easily than anyone else can.

When you find something that lights you up inside, sparks your interest, or breathes life into your curiosity? Allow yourself to grab hold of that thread and follow it instead of worrying what others may think. This is how you become a unique and diverse individual.  So screw the naysayers.

The message in today’s cards is encouragement to follow your joy and allow your curiosity to flourish. Don’t worry so much about what others will think. It’s your life, after all, so curate it into something that brings you joy.

New Years Tarot Reading with the Tarot Vintage deck

Sacred goodbyes → New intentions

The Sun and Two of Pentacles – Sometimes you have to sacrifice the bright and shining success you have in mind in order to foster a healthier balance in your life. There’s really only so much room in one’s life to fit so many endeavors. Sometimes, you have to choose which one is more important to you.  Prioritize wisely.

Healing the past → Inner leadership

Page of Pentacles and Ten of Pentacles – Be patient with yourself as you work on healing past wounds. Keep you eye on the goal of healthy closure/completion, and take others with you on the journey so they can help you remember to celebrate your wins as they come.

Karmic closure → Conscious arrival

Six of Swords and The Empress – It’s time to release those things that aren’t working for you. Use this time of transitions to reset to a more nurturing, care-centric focus that will make room for you to discover healthier habits and methods.

Wisdom gathered → Curiosity reborn

Five of Swords and The High Priestess – Look back upon your greatest victories and defeats, and get curious about where you could revisit these experiences to gain new information missed in the moment. There are secrets in these experiences yet to be discovered.

Trusting the flow → Frequency activated

The Star and Queen of Swords Rx – Speak less. Trust the process. Release control over whether what you say is hitting its mark and let things work themselves out on their own. You can only provide the message; it’s up to the recipient to actually listen and hear you, or disregard your words.

Cycles complete → Action and courage

Four of Swords and Six of Wands – Once your time of rest during the new year comes to an end, it’s time to “show them what you can do”. This isn’t about garnering praise, but might be a little bit about showing off for pride’s sake. Make sure that you’re rested and fully recovered first, though. That needs to take priority.

Energetic cleansing → New paths opening

Ten of Cups and Two of Cups – Find joy and appreciation in sharing good times with others. Allow this to create a sense of overall well-being for you that can be shared with those closest to you. That connection will then carry forward into new moments in the future.

Release and surrender → Soul purpose renewed

Ten of Wands and Judgement – It’s time to let go when things reach a point of overwhelm, instead of continuing to stubbornly keep moving. Put down your burden during these times, and take a moment to remind yourself of what you truly value and want. Then, return to what you’ve put down and pick up only what aligns with those values and goals.

Reflection & integration → Claiming your true path

Death Rx and Seven of Swords Rx – Look at the times over the past year where changes (and as a result, all progress and movement) were delayed, and the damage done by the stagnancy that resulted. Consider what you could have done differently in these situations to keep moving and escape the consequences that stagnancy wrought.

Completion • Release • Integration → Beginnings • Choice • Creation

Nine of Pentacles and The Devil – Now is a time to look back on your accomplishments and pat yourself on the back for them, then turn your gaze forward and flirt with your addictive tendencies to discover new interests and joys to explore. You can indulge and explore without going too far by leaning into self-awareness concerning those addictive tendencies.

More sick and miserable TLC. I made baked chicken for dinner with white rice for something that wouldn’t upset my stomach (or anyone else’s either).  Slept most of the day away.

Hanson-Roberts Tarot - Six of Wands and Daily Truth OracleDaily Mental Health Prompt: Seek a positive message to carry with you throughout the day and offer perspective.

Today’s draw is the Six of Wands, which is traditionally a representation of public accolades, societal expectations, people pleasing, and peer pressure.

The Six of Wands card has then been combined with one of the Daily Truth Oracle cards, which says, “Abundance is here, abundance is everywhere.”

Why are you working so hard to please everyone else, allowing their expectations to tax your energy just to hopefully receive a bit of praise?

Okay, yes.  it’s nice to be acknowledged for hard work or a job well done.  But how often are you actually doing the work because you need to…. or just because you’re striving for that praise from others?  How often are you looking at what you’re doing and thinking “this person will really like this when it’s done” or “this person will be grateful”?

When we focus on pleasing others, it often comes at the expense of our own self care, health, energy, or well-being. Especially when we become so wrapped up in pleasing others that it becomes our sole source of validation.

The message in today’s cards is that it’s important to ensure you are validating yourself. Praise from others is great, but how do -you- feel about that project you just completed?  How do you -want- to feel about it? Can you acknowledge that you did a good job and take pleasure in the completion without seeking out praise from others?  True abundance comes from being able to appreciate our own efforts, skills, and progress… not when that validation comes from others.

Owl and Bones Tarot‘s End of the Year Weirdness Spread
December 29, 2025

Oracle Reading with The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Oracle

Who am I right now?

Shark – Reflect upon what can be brought into balance through honest communication instead of ignoring that it’s bothering you. This focus on honesty and authenticity has always served you well, and is what you are leaning into to right now as the year draws to a close.

What version of me is dissolving?

Horse – You are beginning to understand that you can’t be the sole source of support for any of the people in your life. A source of support , yes, but not the only source. Letting go of this personal expectation allows you room to truly shine in the ways that you -are- best suited to lending support.

What still lingers from this year?

Butterfly – You are still in the middle of a period of transition. The transformation taking place feels like it has calmed, primarily because the beginning was so over-the-top turbulent, but there is still more to go at a (hopefully) more leisurely pace.

What feels strangely important?

Tarantula – Reflect and re-center upon your path and the life purpose you’ve chosen for yourself. Now is the time to prioritize this above side-quests, distractions, and unnecessary routines and practices. These extraneous distractions are starting to take a toll, and it’s time to commit yourself and your focus to what truly needs priority.

Where has my energy been leaking?

Elephant – You have been feeling “stuck” due to the obstacles on your path that you have chosen not to release. Old habits and routines are getting in your way, and because you’ve been trying to stubbornly hold onto them instead of letting them go, they are making everything far more difficult and taxing than it needs to be.

Where does my energy want to go next?

Whale – You idolize Gideon’s understanding nature and ability to make emotions look so easy to acknowledge and understand. His support shows you the path forward in this area, and your energy is ready to lean into learning more about your own emotions as a result.

What do I need to carry into the new year?

Cobra – Carry with you the “learner’s mind”, which will allow you to be open to new ways of doing things and new experiences.

Tarot Reading with the Hanson-Roberts TarotThe Moon: What instincts should I trust rather than dismiss?

Trust that the new methods you’ve applied to your business practices are going to work out (The Star). Just because they feel new and different right now (Page of Pentacles) doesn’t mean they’re wrong, only that it’s going to take some time to become accustomed to them and skilled at them (Eight of Pentacles).

The Sun: What aspect of myself shines the brightest?

Your ever present drive (Knight of Wands) to reach for new opportunities (Ace of Pentacles) is an aspect of yourself that shines bright. You are always looking ahead and seeking more (Two of Wands). This drive forward is something that others notice, and that always keeps you moving.
