Tarotholics Challenge Tarot Reading with the Christmas Tales Tarot

Where should you direct your focus to foster better understanding towards others?

King of Pentacles atop The Empress – Remember that in their minds you will always be the stable strength that nurtures them and creates for them a sense of security and stability as well as comfort. They do not see you in the same light you see yourself, but with eyes of admiration and love.

Where should you direct your focus this week to be more…

KindQueen of Wands – Encourage others to follow their dreams and listen to them when they share their excitement with you.  Foster their desire to share these ideas and dreams with you.

PatientQueen of Cups – Look at others as people needing emotional support, rather than treacherous landmines on the field of life.

GratefulSeven of Cups – It’s a choice. You can cast your attention to those things that you have to be grateful for, and in doing so you become more grateful… or you can ignore these things and it will close you off more and more from others and your own happiness.

What aspects of your life could benefit from some grounding and centering?

Knight of Pentacles – It’s time to return to slow progress. The holiday rush is a time of chaos and things being so busy that there’s no time for anything else… no time to even breathe.  Now that the holiday rush is at an end, it’s time to slow your roll.  You’ll still be moving forward, but at a more manageable pace.

Page of Cups – It’s time to return to your emotions and the development of your emotional intelligence. Over the past few weeks you have had to tamp down on your emotions and close them away. Now is the time to open those closed doors and begin sorting through things and returning to the journey of learning you’ve been working on for the past couple of years.

Tarotholics December Philosophical Questions Oracle Reading with the Hello Winter Oracle

Is it worse to fail at something or never attempt it in the first place?

Wrapped Up – It’s worse to never attempt in the first place. When you attempt you move forward, even when you don’t feel like you do, and even when you feel like you’re failing. If you don’t attempted in the first place, then you remain stagnant and never progress or grow.

What holds you back from doing the things that you really want to?

Package Deal – All or nothing thinking often holds you back from doing the things that you really want to do. It’s that mentality within your inner narrative that says that you have to accomplish it all at once and be good at it all right from the start.

Is a “wrong” act okay if nobody ever knows about it?

Perfect Timing – It may not be “wrong” to act okay if nobody ever knows about it, but it definitely doesn’t accomplish anything. Better to let it out when the time is right than let it fester and grow within you until you feel like screaming.

Which is more important… love or trust?

Being Yourself – Trust is more important. When you foster trust in those around you, it often builds into love over time. Whereas, without trust or with broken trust, love is often irreparably damaged.

Tarotholics Challenge Lenormand Reading with the Yuletide Tales Lenormand

Where should you direct your focus this week to seek out more joy in your life?

Dog and Whip – You need to focus on not allowing your negative inner narrative to shame and criticize you so much, especially concerning your emotions. Keep those inner criticisms in check in order to lift your spirits and your self-confidence.

What do you need to focus on for self-care for this new moon?

Coffin and Ring – Let go of your expectations. Commit to riding out changes instead of trying to fight against them. You are too focused on how things have gone in the past and trying to hold on to that, instead of letting go.

How can you better foster your relationship with friends and loved ones?

Anchor and Letter – Make sure you are communicating with them how much you value their support. They aren’t aware of how much you appreciate them in your life, as well as their help in your business, if you don’t tell them so.

Tarotholics Challenge Oracle Reading with the Yuletide Monsters Oracle

Where should you direct your focus this week to foster your relationship with yourself?

Three of Gifts – Collaborate with others and aim for success. You will be happier with the end results (and by association with yourself) if you don’t try to carry everything alone. You will also be providing yourself some essential self care that is needed.

How can you connect more strongly with the world around you?

Four of Wassail Cups – This isn’t really the time for building stronger connections with the world around you. There just isn’t time. A little apathy in this area right now can go a long way into making sure you are balancing in this area.

What is your greatest strength that is currently hidden from you?

Five of Switches – One of your greatest strengths that you often forget about, especially when you are stressed or confronted with unexpected change, is the ability to deal with conflict in healthy ways instead of letting it descend into chaos.

How can you better connect with your intuition and decrease self-doubt?

Ace of Switches – Be enthusiastic about your connection with your intuition and follow its advice, even when you’re possibly not really a fan of what it’s trying to say. You create more problems for yourself when you ignore it and stubbornly try to pretend it’s not saying something you don’t want to hear.

What can you do to make riding out the holiday season more pleasurable?

Ace of Scissors – Follow your inspiration into the rabbit holes it leads you. Let the excitement of these new ideas inspire you. (Thus, the creation of Kainokami Ryūjin for the Hush rp.)

December Tarot Reading with the Snowland Tarot

Bear – Introspection / Healing – How can a period of introspection help with healing the past year’s pain?

Seven of Pentacles – Sustainable growth takes time and goes through many different phases. One of those phases that encourages growth is time spent looking inward at the self. When we rush, we often try to skip this step, because it’s difficult and uncomfortable, but in taking our time to explore it instead, we come out the other side happier and healthier in the end.

Robin – Compassion / Patience – Where can I express more compassion and patience with others?

Ten of Pentacles – During family times your loved ones could use a bit less snap and snark, and a little more compassion and patience. The stress of the holiday rush is making you snipe more often when you would normally have more patience. An effort toward a bit more compassion and patience will allow everyone to come together comfortably instead of going off into their own corners.

Deer – Gentleness / Intuition – How can I use my intuition to encourage more gentleness and caring this holiday?

Strength – Lean into your interpersonal strengths and seek out the nudge of your intuition to help you learn what others need in order to soften their hard edges and allow them to relax.

Squirrel – Preparation / Resourcefulness – How can prep and resourcefulness help me through the holidays?

The Star – Preparation and your resourcefulness assist in keeping things running smoothly, which in turn then allows you to more easily lean into hope and positivity instead of worry and self-criticism.

Wren – Inspiration / Enthusiasm – Where can I find inspiration to help me be enthusiastic about the holidays this year?

Nine of Pentacles – Stay focused on your accomplishments and how far you have come rather than allowing more negative inner narratives to take control. It’s through acknowledging your accomplishments (no matter how difficult they are to see, and no matter how small or inconsequential they might seem) that you are more easily able to see and enjoy the positives in life and fun in the world around you during the holidays.

Boar – Stubborn Persistence – In what way can stubborn persistence help me through the rest of this year?

Knight of Swords – It will allow you to stay on target and adapt to the sometimes unorthodox methods needed in order to meet your goals. Thinking outside the box is important in order to hit your target.

Owl – Trust / Knowledge – How can the knowledge I’ve gained this year help me to trust myself better?

Wheel of Fortune – Remember that everything you’ve learned is carried with you throughout your life. These lessons don’t go away, but are carried forward with you. Like learning a foreign language, the more you use what you’ve learned, the more it will stick and become natural to you. Use these lessons you’ve gathered through life well and often in order to keep them fresh and easily awakened when you need them.

Oracle Reading with the Enchanted Map Oracle

What can I do to enhance my day-to-day life with more comfort?

Dragon’s Lair – It’s not comfort that you need right now, but rather to mix things up and dive into the excitement of challenge and adventure. See the upcoming holiday rush as a quest, instead of as a burden.

How can I best invest in myself for the long-term?

Commitment – Connect with others and allow them to connect with you. Accept their offers of help without restraint, as they are offering out of love and this sharing in your burden is a building block to greater bonds between you and others.

How can I connect with nature for a greater sense of grounding?

Heal the Ouch – Get your ass out in nature as much as you can. It’s through your connection with the forests and the trees that you find your greatest healing magic. In order to take advantage of this, you need to actually go wander among the trees and lie under their boughs so that your roots can tangle with theirs.
