Don’t Rush It

Today’s meditation was skipped.

Madam Lydia Wilhelmina's Tarot of Monsters, the Macabre, and Autumn ScenesToday’s draw is the Page of Wands, which is traditionally a representation of a receptive omega energy, personality, or person in the area of one’s enthusiasm, passions, drive, principles and values, willpower, and motivations.

The stillness of the figure in this card’s imagery speaks to me about the concept of stillness and patience.  Sometimes, when we are learning a new skill or starting a new passion project? We have to check our expectations and take things slow… even when maybe we don’t want to.

The thing is, these things can take time, and to do things right? It can be important to not rush it.

Questions for September 25th and 26th

Bones of the Bonestone Tarot and Sacred Horse OracleEngage here.

Page of Wands – Every year is a new opportunity to do the holiday rush better than before. Make sure that you are engaging in the practices that will help pave the way, and trying new things that could help make the rush less of a chore and more of a passion project.

Disengage here.

Eight of Swords Rx – Willful ignorance is not your friend. Don’t ignore what is coming. You need to be checked in and engaged, not trying to pretend what’s coming is not so close and drawing closer.

Finding Balance Between the Two – The holiday rush is on the horizon but not yet here (Liminal Space), so make sure that you are taking time for yourself for rest and restoration (Integration). Preparation is about more than tasks that need to be done and things needing stocked up in advance, remember that it is also about self-care and getting what you need to enter into the holiday season feeling grounded, ready to go, and energized.

What have you always known?

Five of Wands – What feels right do you. No matter if it small and inconsequential things, or big important ones, you’ve never had a problem knowing what’s right for you and standing in certainty of that knowledge.

What still needs to be learned?

Page of Cups – Your journey of emotional intelligence and especially in understanding your own emotions is still at its beginning and there is still much more to be learned in this area.

Finding Balance Between the Two – Find a sense of peace and balance between what you know is for you and the uncertainty of your emotional journey (Harmony) by sinking into your creativity and allowing yourself to find joy in the creative process (Divine Encounter).

Questions for September 26th thru 30th – HONOURING THE DARKNESS

Madam Lydia Wilhelmina's Tarot of Monsters, the Macabre, and Autumn ScenesWhat do I need to illuminate and bring to the forefront?

Four of Wands – This is about gratitude. It’s about bringing to the forefront all that is good and comfortable in your home life. There’s lots that you want to chance, sure. That doesn’t mean you should let those things overshadow all the good, though.

How can my fears be transformed into joys?

Two of Cups – Share your fears with those that care. In the sharing, your burden is lifted enough to allow room for others to care for and comfort you.

What is the best way for me to rest and recuperate?

Page of Cups – Tap into your creativity and imagination. Do things that are completely unrelated to your work, and use the creative spark they kindle to reinvigorate you.

What void is in my life?

Two of Coins – You’re fooling no one by trying to circumvent your need for life balance. You need to take a moment to look at what you are juggling, and how to go about it in a manner that doesn’t steal from your self-care needs.

What should I let fade away?

King of Swords – Clear away authoritarian communication and step back from “taking charge”. It’s okay to take a back seat now and then and just see what happens.

Making Time for Play

Today’s meditation was skipped.

Tarot de Marseille MamanmiyukiToday’s draw is the Fool card, which is traditionally a representation of innocence, enthusiasm, adventure, newness and fresh starts, carefree outlooks, and spontaneity.

What stands out to me the strongest in the imagery of the card today is that what is usually a dog with the Fool actually appears like it might be a cat in this image.

When my cat is feeling the urge to play and wants to involve me, she will chase me everywhere I go and try to nip at my feet and heels in an effort to invite me to play with her. This is what I see in today’s card, which asks each of us, where are you invited to have a little fun and play a little more?

For me personally, this is also an encouragement to set aside a little time to play with Miss Luna today.

Questions for September 16th and 17th

Bones of the Bonestone Tarot and The TreeLore OracleWhat is exposed?

Queen of Wands – Your drive and desire to inspire and empower others is on display for all to see. You put yourself out there in so many ways just for this purpose.

What is hidden?

Six of Cups – Your past. Especially the bittersweet parts of it. As much as you share with others, there is just as much you choose to keep to yourself.

Finding Balance Between the Two – Be discerning and cleanse from your life those things that are of no use to you so that you can better align with the things that are not just of use but suit you well (Tamarack). The past is gone and although there are things that we carry forward from it, they should be the healthy things that assist in thriving and helping others thrive… not the unhealthy ones that would hold us back (White Ash).

What can you add to your life?

The Magician – You could do with a bit more confidence and motivation in your life, carefully applied in just the right places.

What might you subtract?

Wheel of Fortune – Changes do not always have to be accompanied by unpredictability or create an imbalance. Many times what is coming can be seen ahead of time and prepared for because it is a repeating cycle rather than an out-of-the-blue shift.

Finding Balance Between the Two – Be practical with your time and energy by preparing ahead for what is to come (Tulip Poplar). Do what you can to foster a sense of peace in your life, including meditation and sharing with Gideon things that are bothering you so that you expel them instead of letting them linger and fester (White Pine).

Mr Lionhart’s #TheSeptemberTarot Between Dusk & Dawn Prompt
Questions for September 16th thru 18th – INITIATE

Tarot de Marseille MamanmiyukiThink of something you enjoy or love about your life and keep this in your thoughts. Ask the cards: How can I grow within my joys and build on what I love?

Stay true to yourself and your moral compass (Judgment) and take the time to explore your intuition more in depth. There is so much more to learn if you are willing to dive for it (La Papesse).

These cards speak of potential, and an unlimited ability to delve into areas of secret knowledge, and expand your own in doing so without sacrificing your values and principles in the process.

What am I guided to initiate right now for when Mercury stations direct (October 1st}?

Although the holiday rush is coming, you’re going to need a little bit of extra cash before it swings into gear (Six of Coins atop For of Coins). Take care that you are not going overboard on spending right now so that the cash will be available to you when you need it (Le Diable).

What is required to grow past initiation…

Seven of Batons atop Knight of Swords – A little bit of impulse and ambition, and a whole lot of conviction.

towards creation…

King of Batons – Motivation, not just for yourself but to share with others so that they can join you on the journey.

to reach finalization?

Eight of Cups – The ability to identify and discard those things along the way that are not working, so that you can move toward those things that do.
