Tarot for Kids - Four of Wands

Today’s draw is the Four of Wands, which is traditionally a representation of one’s passionate love for the security and welcoming energies of home. This often translates into themes that have to do with homecoming, celebrating home and stability, as well as relaxation in comfortable spaces.

Home should be a place of celebration and happiness. A place where you return to a sense of safety and welcoming. If this isn’t how you feel when you walk through the door of your home, perhaps it’s time to look a little deeper and figure out why that’s the case.

What is it that you’re not acknowledging that’s keeping you from seeing your home in this way, and what can you do to change things to make that better?

The message in today’s Four of Wands card and “Subconscious” prompt is a reminder that our discomfort has a source. We may not be able to tell what’s causing these feelings at first glance, but with a little digging we can suss out what the subconscious is trying to tell us is needed. Once we have that knowledge brought out into the light, it’s far easier to make the changes needed to solve the problem.

Tarot Reading with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tarot

What does forgiveness (toward others) look like for me?

The Tower Rx atop Death Rx – For you, forgiveness towards others looks like choosing to stay and not walk away when things get hard or the path is troubled.

Because you have a low tolerance for those things that require forgiveness in the first place, the fact that you stay is a demonstration of the forgiveness that you are willing to give. Otherwise, you would just walk away.

What does forgiveness (toward myself) look like for me?

Two of Wands – You demonstrate forgiveness towards yourself in that you keep moving forward and making plans instead, of allowing yourself to be stymied into stagnancy.

This, in turn, means that often your moments of stagnancy are caused by a lack of self-forgiveness. Perhaps this is something to look at more in depth.

What do I need to hear more often from myself?

Ten of Wands – You need to remind yourself more often that you don’t have to carry all of that on your own, nor plow through until you’re finished. Put it down, take a breath, and take a break. Ask for help. Delegate.

Remember that the adage “if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself” is not necessarily true… especially if you’ve taught others the “right way” so that they can emulate your own efforts. Remember, as well, that sometimes there is no “right way” as long as it gets done… and these tasks are the first to begin handing off, which frees you up to give more attention to those things that actually need your personal touch.

Tarot Reading with the Tarot for Kids

How are you doing emotionally at this time?

The Tower and The Hierophant – You’re a mess, and trying to hold things together to appear as if you’re fine and all is at status quo, because that’s what you always do.

You are very good at pretending everything is fine when the world is burning to ash around you, and that’s exactly how you feel emotionally at this time.

How can you improve on this in the week ahead?

The Hanged Man and The World – Remember that it’s temporary. You are in subdrop and, with a little patience, you will come out the other side of it.

Close your eyes, take a breath, and wait.

This is a catch up post, and I’m not entirely sure what the self kindness was for this day.

🌑 New Moon in Pisces – March 2026

Tomorrow is the new moon, and like all new moons and full moons, I did a spread aligned to the moon’s current themes as a part of my recognition of the moon’s cycle and influences upon us. Today’s spread is courtesy of @sistersvillage

New Moon in Pisces Tarot Reading with the Tarocchino Arlecchino

What does emotional peace look like for me right now?

Le Balet d’Epee atop Le Dix de Baton Rx – Peace right now looks like security. It’s essentially what you feel like you don’t have right now… and it’s worth considering that maybe that is what it -always- looks like; that thing you quietly long for that you don’t have in the moment the question is asked.

That is to say that in this moment, peace looks like everything going well and lots of resources to go around while you sit on the sidelines and supervise from a place where you can go unnoticed.

What needs to change in my life?

Le Diable Rx – You need to take a more active roll in brushing off the languor and desire to languish that your last depressive episode has left behind. More movement is needed. Allowing the depression to linger by indulging in behaviors that promote stagnancy is going to keep you stuck in that haze you are struggling to escape from.

What in my life feels like it’s coming to an end?

Le Sept de Denier – Long fought for stability.

You feel like the efforts of your past and the rewards garnered along the way are crumbling beneath your feet. You worked long and hard to get where you are, but even all of that work and effort that you’ve put in can’t save you from moments of instability and uncertainty.

How can I show myself more self love and compassion?

Le Huit de Denier Rx – When you don’t change up how you do things, you just set yourself up to repeat the same mistakes and re-experience the same frustrations all over again. Look at past patterns that don’t serve you (with people, with methods and/or techniques, with practices) and move in a different direction instead of repeating them.

New Moon advice from the Minoan Goddess Amalthea.

Le Neuf d’Epee Rx – You are allowing your fears to have too much sway over your emotions and your actions. Confront your fears and break free.

Dried Purple Heather Sprigs for Independence and Luck
Goat Figure as Sympathetic Representation of Amalthea
