Deam-Weaver Prompt for November 3 : Curious
Daily Mental Health Prompt: Seek a positive message to carry with you throughout the day and offer perspective.
Today’s draw is the Ten of Wands, which is traditionally a representation of overwhelm, burnout, struggling under too much responsibility, and can indicate a need to do some prioritizing and delegation.
As unfortunate as it is, sometimes we just can’t sate our curiosity, no matter how much we want to.
It’s all about the numbers, honestly. I’m a curious person at heart, always interested in learning and trying out new things. Always ready to explore something that strikes my interest… and there’s a lot out there that strikes my interest.
Sadly, though, there’s only so many hours in a day, days in a week, and weeks in a year… and my dance card is already full to overflowing.
This is disappointing, because there’s so much more I want to do, see, learn, and experience.
The message for today is a reminder that you can only take on so much. No matter how much you want to take on more, sometimes you already have so much going on that you just can’t. When you try, you flirt with overwhelm and burn out, which can end up causing problems with everything you have on your plate and are currently juggling.
Pick and choose the curiosities you decide to explore carefully, because you can only have so many of them at once. The rest either have to wait or be discarded.

What is pure in your life?
Seven of Cups – Options. You are given lots of options because you have taken paths in life that allow you to have earned these options. They aren’t just sprung upon you, but rather built towards… and when, each of your cups approaches full, it’s then time to do some weeding.
What are you curious to explore?
Seven of Swords – It’s difficult being the good guy all the time. Sometimes you just wanna dip into the dark side and see what you can get away with. (Yes, I have the good sense not to take this path, no matter how curious I sometimes get to see what it would be like.)
What magic is possible if you leap?
Two of Swords – The magic of free will and autonomy. There is empowerment and making your own choices, but that means actually -making- choices instead of being frozen in place as you waffle with choosing.
Where are you trusting?
Nine of Wands – You are working on letting go of being so defensive… and protective. Trying to rely more on faith rather than your own diligence and watchfulness.
What risk is worth taking?
Eight of Cups – Walking away from those things that are not suited for you and only cause you frustration is a risk worth taking. By doing so, you are opening up space for those things you are curious about to step in and fill the gap.

How can I prioritize what’s most important so I don’t feel like I’m juggling too much?
The Lovers – “You can’t be a generous lover all of the time.” Sometimes? You have to be selfish and go with what’s best for you instead. That means prioritizing what’s best for you above the need to people please or fulfill expectations from outside sources.
Two of Cups
How can I deepen my connections with others?
The Star – Don’t lose hope in the innate goodness of others. It can be hard to stay connected to that hope sometimes, but without it you end up closing people out instead of welcoming them in.
What does true partnership look like to me?
The Sun atop Eight of Wands Rx – Longevity is key. For you, a true partnership is someone at your side to take the slow and often arduous journey towards happiness and success with. You don’t want or need a “flash in the pan” passion, but instead to you true partnership is someone that moves with you each step of the way.

I was struggling a bit with motivation today, and cut myself a little slack on getting orders done as a result.
