Today’s meditation was short, and done during the procedure at the doctor’s office to remove the cyst on my shoulder then stitch me up.
@the_mystic_star May Tarot Challenge Prompt
I am using this challenge’s prompts as affirmation prompts for my daily card. Not exactly the intended process for the challenge, but I want to give credit for where I’m getting these affirmation prompts from.
Affirmation Prompt for May 1st: Beauty
Ten of Pentacles – “Success brings confidence, and confidence brings success.” Look at all that you have accomplished in life and how you share it with others. It is a beautiful sight, and one that those around you recognize and appreciate as well.
Pride is a form of self-appreciation, especially when not over-inflated but instead examined through the lens of true accomplishment.
Take a moment to appreciate the glow. Bask in its beauty. It’s okay to take pride in what you’ve done and allow it to bolster you.

Prompts for the Challenge Prelude
What theme or lesson will be prominent for me during this month of working with the Moon?
Five of Pentacles and Two of Pentacles – Lessons having to do with learning how to balance out moments in life where you feel you are not getting enough instead of using those feelings of scarcity of a way to punish yourself.
In what way, area or form will the May Moon illuminate or guide my magical journey?
Judgement and The World – This month’s moon can help in allowing you to see more clearly not just what you have accomplished, but also where you want to go from here.
What path or opportunity could open up for me by embracing the guiding energy of the Moon?
Ten of Cups and Temperance – The gift of moderation on emotional matters can be yours if you are willing to embrace the Moon’s guidance this month, allowing for a happier overall outlook as a result.

I went in and had a cyst that had become infected removed, advocating for myself that it’s done now by my family doc, instead of being put off so that I could be sent to a specialized clinic.
