The Echo

Our lives shine bright
like stars in the sky
and echo onward
once snuffed out
stretching through time
in the hearts
and minds of those
who loved us
all along
it’s with those
we’ve left behind
is where we linger on
in memories cherished
and the ache
in loving hearts
remembered like an echo
for all of those left
