No meditation today… just no time for it.
Wheel of Fortune – Lots of ups and downs today and a good dose of uncertainty. Don’t forget that with every bad there is a corresponding good to balance it out. Make sure, as well, to remember that although dealing with uncertainty is not your strong suit, you are strong, smart, and you’ve got this. You might have to take it one day at a time… one hour at a time in some cases, but you’ve got this.

August 8
Today’s meditation was ten minutes long, and was done in the waiting room at the trauma surgical center at the hospital while Ms B was in surgery.
Two of Cups – Work together and make sure you see eye to eye on what’s best for the both of you. It’s okay to speak up and make it clear that you need something or state how you feel. Remember that it’s okay to lean on others for emotional support. It doesn’t make you weak to need that.

August 9
Today’s meditation was ten minutes long, and was primarily breathing exercises to help with easing my anxiety levels. I then managed to doze off and take a much needed nap.
Six of Pentacles – Being generous needs to extend beyond what you give to others, and include how you treat yourself. The Thera-Pets card for today is a reminder that you need to take care of yourself, and while Ms B is in the hospital is the ideal time to give yourself a bit of a break and just let yourself rest and recuperate a little bit.
