These Saturday readings are (not usually) bearing in on any one thing or event in my life, as the question used is asking for a more general outlook. This is a self care exercise, and is not meant as a predictive reading… although that, too, happens on occasion.
The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?
Earth – The Hermit – Giving yourself a little extra alone time right now wouldn’t be remiss. Just make sure that it’s healthy alone time and not you trying to hide away.
Air – Knight of Wands Rx – Slow down and take a breath. It’s September, not November. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed with lots of “should be doing” thoughts and tasks.
Water – The Fool Rx – Set frivolity aside and be serious about how you’re feeling this week. You need to be self aware and paying attention so you don’t stray emotionally into something you can’t handle.
Fire – Ten of Cups – Do the stuff you like to do that makes you feel good about yourself and your work this week. There will be time enough for the tasks your less enthusiastic about later on.
Waning – Two Left Cards – Remember that vulnerability is something that you go to those you trust for help with. Don’t retreat into you self. Instead, reach out to those that can help you find solid ground when you’re feeling vulnerable.
Waxing – Two Right Cards – Just make sure that you are sharing these emotions and vulnerability with those that you trust to provide you with safety and security. It is with those who have helped to shelter you during the storm that you can find support when you need it.
Take Away – Don’t let the upcoming holiday rush get you worked up this week. You still have time to enjoy a little down time and relax in the company of trusted loved ones.
