These Saturday readings are (not usually) bearing in on any one thing or event in my life, as the question used is asking for a more general outlook. This is a self care exercise, and is not meant as a predictive reading… although that, too, happens on occasion.
The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?
Earth – King of Pentacles – Feel your supremacy through the stability that grows beneath your feet. You are strong, capable, and accomplished. Make sure you are giving yourself credit for these things.
Air – Two of Swords Rx – No important decisions need to be made this week. If any come up, set them aside until next week. Now is not the time.
Water – Seven of Pentacles – Be patient with yourself. It’s a long journey and you’re just at the beginning of learning about your emotions.
Don’t let frustration at how things are going, or the speed at which they move, to cause you distress. Trying to push yourself, others, or the projects you are working on won’t make things go any faster this week. Instead it will just create frustration.
Fire – Six of Cups – This week would be a good time to pick up a project that you set down for one reason or another in the past, but were enjoying while you were doing it. Take some time to return to this project and give it another look.
Waning – Two of Diamonds and Four of Spades – Again we see a notation that you should move away from decision-making this week. Don’t stew over it or waffle over it, and don’t let it linger in your mind. Instead, it’s important to set decisions on the back burner and leave them alone until next week.
Waxing – Three of Clubs and King of Clubs (Clouds) – Let direction and momentum overcome moments of uncertainty this week.
Take Away – Keep moving this week and (clearly) don’t make any important decisions right now. Whatever decisions need made can wait until next week. Putting them off won’t hurt anything, but feeling rushed or pressured into dealing with them immediately definitely will. Explore something left behind and cut yourself a little slack so you can truly enjoy it.
