These Saturday readings are (not usually) bearing in on any one thing or event in my life, as the question used is asking for a more general outlook. This is a self care exercise, and is not meant as a predictive reading… although that, too, happens on occasion.
The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?
Earth – Seven of Coins atop Four of Wands, Use Your Power – You won’t have much of a balcony garden left of you don’t get out there and take care of them. Take some time this week to get the rest of your garden tender to and planted.
Air – Eight of Coins and Take Stock of Your Achievements – Trust in what you know and what you’re good at. Don’t let doubts and negativity sweep in and steal away your well earned confidence away.
Water – Four of Swords and Receive Your Blessing – Get good rest while you can. Use this opportunity to shore up your strength. You are still in recovery and the better you feel physically, the better you’re going to feel emotionally as well.
Fire – Three of Wands and Practice Tenderness – As you plot your course forward and start moving again, keep your expectations low. Take care that you don’t overload yourself with more than you’re ready for this week.
Waning – Coffin and Rider – You’ve been sick, but this is on its way out. You need to make sure you’re focusing on doing the things you need to do to help this illness move on its way quickly.
Waxing – Tree and Stork – With recovery from your illness will come a sense of rebirth. This renewal of energy and physical health is something you need to focus on encouraging this week. Get back on track with those things that help you stay healthy.
Take Away – This week’s self care reading is all about guiding me out of my illness and through the recovery process. It’s about taking things slow so that I don’t overwhelm myself, and keeping my expectations low so that I don’t over-pressure myself.
