Look Deeper
The whisper comes
“look deeper”
causes feet to pause
and head to turn
as gaze scans
over green and gray
“look deeper” it says
coaxing the lean in
as curious gaze
gets entranced
by delicate swirls
and frills of life
hills and valleys
on a minute scale
